How does selling a controller work?

Select your controller's platform and model, then run the live drift test — connect it and follow the on-screen steps to measure stick circularity and resting drift, then test every button. We suggest a price based on the controller's age, condition and test results, which you can adjust. Add up to 4 photos (backgrounds are removed automatically) and publish — your listing goes live immediately with real, verified test results attached.

What is the drift/controller test, and how is it scored?

Stick drift is when an analog stick registers movement even when you're not touching it, usually from worn potentiometers or Hall Effect sensors. We measure two things: resting drift (how much the stick moves when left alone) and circularity (how accurately it traces a perfect circle at full deflection). Results are scored Excellent (drift under 3%), Moderate (3–6%), or Poor (over 6%), and shown on the listing so buyers see real numbers rather than a seller's description alone.

What fees does NetsMarket charge, and what do I receive as a seller?

NetsMarket takes a 10% commission, calculated on the item price only — never on shipping. You can also opt into optional package protection (shipment insurance) for a small percentage of the item price, deducted from your payout if you choose it. What's left after commission (and package protection, if selected) is paid out to you.

How does shipping work, and what's the Evri label?

Once your controller sells, we automatically buy a real Evri shipping label for you using the shipping address you have on file — there's no manual "buy a label" step. You'll get a QR code by email: take it to any Evri ParcelShop and staff print the label for you, or download a printable PDF instead. Buyers choose at checkout whether the order ships to their address or to an Evri pickup point.

What is the 48-hour window after delivery?

Once an order is marked delivered, the buyer has 48 hours to check it before you're paid. If everything's as described, they can confirm receipt straight away so you're paid immediately, or do nothing — the payout releases automatically once the 48 hours pass. If something's genuinely wrong, the buyer can report it within that window instead, which pauses the payout and flags the order for us to review rather than releasing it automatically.

What's the returns policy?

NetsMarket is a marketplace, not a retailer — items are sold by individual sellers. If a seller cancels before shipping or misses their shipping deadline, the buyer is automatically refunded in full, no request needed. After delivery, a buyer can confirm receipt (releasing payment) or report an issue — such as the item not matching the listing, arriving damaged, or not being genuine — before the payout happens. Why do I need to verify my identity?

To keep NetsMarket safe, everyone verifies their identity before buying or selling — not just sellers. It takes about a minute and happens once; if it doesn't succeed the first time, you can try again.

Question 8

How and when do I get paid as a seller?

Accepted Answer

Payouts go through Stripe Connect, which you set up once from your profile. Once a sale's payout is released — after the 48-hour window passes, the buyer confirms receipt early, or a reported issue is resolved in your favour — the money is sent to your connected Stripe account, then follows Stripe's own payout schedule from there to your bank.
